Freschi & Schiavoni is a multi-logistics platform. We therefore manage freight handling operations in the phases of warehousing, packaging, storage, and transport. Our platforms are equipped to handle goods on behalf of airlines, GSA/GSSA, Freight Forwarders, and NVOCC.
Our handling service, both physical and for documental handling, also include the handling of temperature-controlled food and pharmaceutical goods, as well as high-value and dangerous products (DGR).

Physical Handling
We offer comprehensive logistics services for all types of goods, handling each phase of the process with precision and reliability. Our services include: warehousing and storage, weighing, labeling, and packaging services as per specific requirements, security screening of air cargo, ULD (Unit Load Device) preparation, management of active containers (e.g., Envirotainer) and isothermal packaging for handling food and pharmaceutical goods, management of sea containers and weighing service in accordance with the SOLAS convention, crate packaging, fumigation, and radiometric services; we therefore offer a flexible and customized service, designed to optimize cargo management.
Documental Handling
Our integrated service for air, sea, and industrial shipments includes checking incoming goods with notification of irregularities and issuing appropriate documentation for each type of transport. To support operations, our advanced IT system allows freight forwarders and logistics operators to: Monitor shipments in real-time, Manage AWB or bill of lading references and assignments, Send instructions directly to the warehouse, Customize each phase of the logistics process based on specific needs. We therefore offer a transparent and punctual service to allow you to closely follow your shipments.
Temperature-Controlled Goods Storage
Our Vignate Terminal has a state-of-the-art cold storage facility dedicated to the storage of food and pharmaceutical goods, with a total area of approximately 800 m².
The cold rooms are equipped with a real-time monitoring system that allows constant temperature control, with automatic alarms in case of deviations from the set parameters, cooling motor anomalies or temperature setting changes. The facility can accommodate standard pallets for the following temperature ranges: Food & Pharma Area: from +2°C to +8°C and from +15°C to +25°C. All temperature reports are available in real-time, ensuring complete traceability and strict control along the entire cold chain, in full compliance with industry regulations and in accordance with GDP guidelines.
Special Cargo Handling
We are equipped to handle perishable goods, with particular attention to the food and pharmaceutical sectors, ensuring storage in temperature-controlled cold rooms. We offer complete solutions for maintaining the cold chain, both active and passive. Our highly qualified and constantly updated team is specialized to manage dangerous goods (DGR) for air, sea, and road transport, in full compliance with international regulations. We aim to offer a safe and reliable service for the storage and management of high-value goods (VUN) within our warehouses.
